He said the Nigeria Union of Teachers was working with the state government to ensure full implementation of the N18,000 minimumwage for teachers in eight local government areas.
He, however, appealed to the workers to return to work, recalling that the state was among the first in the country to implement the N18,000 minimumwage in 2011.
A cross-section of workers on Tuesday in Abuja, expressed mixed reactions on organised labour's suspension of the Nov. 6, proposed strike to press for the implementation of a new national minimumwage.
Wamakko further said he was among the first governors to pay the N18, 000 minimumwage and ensured that he cleared all salary and workers entitlements before handing over to the present government.
Agbaje explained that the book had 16 chapters delving into issues of corruption, poverty, the Nigerian constitution, minimumwage and governance, among others.
According to Kazaure "the expected release of report by a committee set up by the Federal Government to review the minimumwage will address the call to review corps members allowances in Nigeria".
