Anthony Joshua has tipped Oleksandr Usyk to defeat Tyson Fury in their undisputed heavyweight title clash. However, he admits he would prefer to fight Fury in the future.
Tyson Fury has confirmed that his world heavyweight title bout with Anthony Joshua, will take place August 14. The 31-year-old Joshua holds the WBA, WBO and IBF belts, while Fury, 32, is WBC champion.
However, both Fury and Joshua must first deal with Deontay Wilder and Kubrat Pulev respectively, before facing each other. Fury took to social media to taunt Joshua this week and he has reacted to the remarks.
"I am sure that Tyson Fury is not retired yet. I am convinced that he wants to fight me," Usyk said after his victory against Joshua. "I want to fight him and if I'm not fighting Tyson Fury, I am not fighting at all."
Tyson Fury has beaten Deontay Wilder to become the new WBC heavyweight champion of the world. Fury produced a stunning performance in Las Vegas, dropping the Wilder twice before the American's team threw in the towel in the seventh round.

Boxing promoter, Eddie Hearn, has said Anthony Joshua vs Tyson Fury will be staged in Saudi Arabia on August 7 or 14. However, Hearn admitted he is "frustrated" the fight is yet to be finalised.

Deontay Wilder's camp has debunked speculations that a third WBC heavyweight title fight with Tyson Fury has been cancelled. The American lost his WBC belt to Fury in February 2020, following a seventh-round stoppage loss in Las Vegas.
