Detectives at the Central Police Station, Nnewi, Anambra State, have arrested one 35-year-old Dorothy Sunday, who allegedly stole a five-day-old twin baby boy.
He added that, the police has also mounted a man-hunt for the mother who committed the heinous crime. He said the baby has been sent to the hospital for treatment while the police are trying hard to arrest the mother.

According to reports, the young woman was arrested by the Ogun State police command for allegedly selling off her 18-month-old baby to a yet-to-be-identified buyer at the rate of N600,000.
"SA confessed that the baby was born in May," Tarakan Police Chief Dearystone Supit said on Thursday. According to the police, SA claimed to have given birth to the child in secret, in her bathroom at home, by herself.

Spokesperson of the state Police Command, SP Omolola Odutola, noted that the baby was rushed to Olabisi Onabanjo University Teaching Hospital (OOUTH), Sagamu, adding that the said baby is in stable condition.

It was gathered that when the family insisted on seeing the body, the nurses claimed that the baby's head was bad, prompting the family to report at the police station.
