It was titled, "Invocation of the provision of Section 157 (1) of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria 1999, as amended for the removal of the Chairman of the Code of Conduct Tribunal."
According to him, the offences contravened Sections 411, 145 and 390 (9) of the Criminal Code, Laws of Ekiti State, 2012. The defendants, however, pleaded not guilty.
Mustapha told the court that the offences were committed on August 13, 2017, at about 9.30 p.m. at Egan Road, Iyana-Iyesi, Ota. He said that the offences contravened Sections 210(f), 324 and 516(1) of the Criminal Code, Laws of Ogun, 2006.
He said the offence contravened Section 390 (9) of the Criminal Code Cap C16 Laws of Ekiti State 2012. The prosecutor urged the Court to adjourn the case to enable him study the file and assemble his witnesses.
The prosecutor said the offences are against Sections 390(9) and 516 of the Criminal Code Law of Oyo State, 2000. The Chief Magistrate, Olabisi Ogunkanmi, allowed Rukayat to go on bail for N2 million.

The victim was provided a reference code which could be redeemed for cash at Walmart locations. After the program launched in September 2017, the Red Cross received reports nonvictims were claiming the funds.
The offences contravened Section 2 (b) of the Robbery and Firearms ( Special Provisions) Act, Laws of the Federation 2004 as well as Sections 383, 390 (9) and 411 (1) of the Criminal Code, Laws of Oyo State 2000.
The offences, he said, contravene Sections 411 and 390 (9) of the Criminal code, Laws of Ekiti State, 2012. The defendants, however, pleaded not guilty to the charges.
The offences, according to the Judicial Form 2 issued by the court, were contrary to sections 113, 114, 393, 394 of the Penal Code of Northern Nigeria and sections 883 and 204 of the Criminal Code Act.
