"One of them went to the bank to collect money from my bank account, but he could not collect money. They became angry and beat and tortured me in the car.
It has been revealed that the 12 suspects currently being interrogated by Police operatives in Kwara State over the recent bankrobbery in Offa were arrested through the tracking of mobile phones the robbers collected from victims.
"It was not a bankrobbery. The major issue was between Emeka and Iyke. It was Emeka and Iyke that were having issues. Along the line, myself and others decided to intervene in the matter.
The robbers, aged between 35 and 45, demanded her phone, bank access, and money. When she couldn't comply, they resorted to violence, leaving her with a bleeding knee and emotional trauma.
When I came out of the bank, a car packed full of some SARS policemen wearing black cloth with anti-robbery squad written at the back. I was told to enter the vehicle with a gun pointed at me.
She also told cops she realised her bank accounts were overdrawn and believed someone had managed to gain access to her phone and made two Zelle payments from her Chase Bank accounts that together amounted to $5,000.

The police boss said three suspects that specialised in breaking vehicles' boots, who trailed a man who was about to wed to a bank, were arrested when they broke the boot of the victim's vehicle and stole N480, 000, which was later recovered
