Messi opened the scoring with a pinpoint effort across Gianluigi Buffon on the stroke of half-time, while Ivan Rakitic finished from close range after Messi's low cross was diverted away from goal on 56 minutes.
Barca's talisman bamboozled Juve's defence and left Buffon spinning with another expert dribble and finish 21 minutes from time, while Buffon's blushes were spared as Barca had another ruled out after the keeper fumbled a simple low cross on a torrid night for the Italian champions.
