The Los Angeles Police Department has revealed that late American rapper, PopSmoke, 20, was murdered by a 15-year-old during a home invasion robbery in February 2020. According to the New York Daily News, LAPD Det.
PopSmoke was shot and killed during a home invasion at his Hollywood Hills residence on Feb. 19. Prior to his death, he released his mixtape Meet the Woo 2.
"PopSmoke was a legend in the making and I wish we could've collaborated together more," said Tyga, who was featured on PopSmoke's "West Coast Shit" track.
The estate of PopSmoke has shared the deluxe version of his posthumous debut album, Shoot for the Stars Aim for the Moon, released in time for what would have been the rapper's 21st birthday.
The Los Angeles police have said that five persons have been arrested in connection to the fatal shooting of rapper, PopSmoke during a home invasion in February.
