Highlighting the urgency of the matter, he stated, "The current minimumwage is set to expire in March this year. Therefore, we are optimistic that negotiations for a new minimumwage will be concluded before the expiration date."
Saraki, who made this known when he featured in News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) Forum in Abuja, said that the senate was aware of the need to review the current minimumwage.
