UN official loses two daughters to inferno in Zamfara

A social policy specialist serving under the United Nations, UN, in Sokoto State, Mr Isah Ibrahim Maru has lost two of his children to fire disaster. He confirmed the sad news when members of the correspondents' chapel of Zamfara Council, NUJ, paid him a condolence

Fire razes popular Ibadan textile market

Assorted ankara, lace and some curtain materials were destroyed in the inferno. Nothing was left untouched in the affected shops although no one was injured and no life was lost.

Fire razes 23 shops in Kwara market

The fire reportedly started by 1a.m, however the arrival of firefighters prevented the inferno from spreading to other shops and houses in the vicinity.

Pipeline explosion rocks Abule Egba in Lagos (video)

Fire razes Samsung showroom in Abuja
