According to Teamtalk, Watford are already in talks with Chinese side, Shanghai Shenhua to bring Ighalo back to Vicarage Road in the January transfer window.
Ighalo is currently on loan at Man United until January 2021 from the Chinese side, Shanghai Shenhua. His contract with Shanghai Shenhua will expire in December 2021.
His loan spell at Manchester United from Shanghai Shenhua came to an end on January 31, 2021. The Nigerian forward was due to return to his parent club Shanghai Shenhua, but they have given him permission to speak to Al-Shabab.
We reported that Ighalo's parent club, Shanghai Shenhua, has rejected United's requests to keep the Nigerian striker at Old Trafford for another three months.
Since joining Manchester United from Chinese side, Shanghai Shenhua, the former Super Eagles player has scored five goals and provided one assist in all competition.
Ighalo's contract with Shanghai Shenhua runs until December 31 and the Chinese Super League side expect him to return at the end of his loan in England.
