COVID-19 Omicron: Five EPL matches called off this weekend

A total of five Premier League matches have now been postponed, because of the spread of the Omicron variant of COVID-19.

The first fixture to be called off was Manchester United's home against Brighton.

The Premier League has now decided to move four more fixtures that should have been played this weekend.

They are:

Southampton vs Brentford - Saturday December 18, 3pm

Watford v Crystal Palace - Saturday December 18, 3pm

West Ham United vs Norwich City - Saturday December 18, 3pm

Everton vs Leicester City - Sunday December 19, 12pm

The league has insisted that there is no immediate chance that all games will be cancelled.
