Champions League: Messi makes demand after PSG's 2-0 win against Man City

Paris Saint-Germain superstar, Lionel Messi, has urged his teammates to grow together and keep giving their best following their Champions League 2-0 victory against Manchester City on Tuesday night.

Messi, who joined PSG from Barcelona in the summer transfer window, said PSG needs to improve their relationship together.

PSG defeated Man City at Parc des Princes, thanks to two goals from Idrissa Gueye and Messi.

The Argentine captain scored his first PSG goal during his side's Champions League 2-0 victory over Manchester City in the Champions League on Tuesday night.

Speaking to Canal+, Messi said: "I hadn't been able to play recently and this was only my second game in this stadium. I am adapting to my new team.

"The more we forwards play together, the better our relationship will be.

"We all need to grow together and improve and keep giving our best [for the club]."

Messi will now hope to continue his impressive display for PSG when they take on Rennes in their next fixture on October 3.
