Messi, Sergio Ramos out as PSG see off Strasbourg

Lionel Messi and Sergio Ramos were in the stands, as Paris Saint-Germain battled to a 4-2 win over Strasbourg in Ligue 1 on Saturday.

Messi is still not fully fit after signing for PSG from Barcelona and watched on with Neymar and fellow new recruits Ramos and Gianluigi Donnarumma.

Mauro Icardi opened scoring for the hosts, before Kylian Mbappe made it 2-0.

PSG vs Strasbourg: Two key players missing as Pochettino names squad

PSG went three goals up after Mbappe's cross was bundled home by Julian Draxler.

However, second-half goals from Kevin Gameiro and Ludovic Ajorque saw Strasbourg threaten to produce a shock comeback.

Alexander Djiku was then sent off for the visitors after two bookable offences.

Mauricio Pochettino's men made sure of victory, after substitute Pablo Sarabia tapped home at the back post in the 86th minute.

The win sent PSG top of the table with two wins from two, while last season's champions Lille were thrashed 4-0 at home by Nice earlier on Saturday.
