EPL: Man United stars tells Solskjaer player to sign ahead of Sancho

Manchester United players have told manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, to sign Aston Villa's Jack Grealish ahead of Borussia Dortmund's Jadon Sancho this summer transfer window, according to The Telegraph.

A number of Man United's players have been impressed by Grealish's performances this season and view the Aston Villa captain as an "appealing summer signing".

Man United wanted to sign Sancho last summer but was unable to strike a deal with Dortmund, who demanded in excess of £100 million for the 21-year-old.

Dortmund have, however, reduced their price tag on Sancho ahead of the summer window and are now willing to sell him for £75 million.

However, the newspaper report added that Solskjaer's preference is to sign Sancho after missing out on the England international last year.

Man United will have to battle Manchester City for Grealish's signature.

Man City manager, Pep Guardiola, is a huge admirer of Grealish and is also interested in a deal for the player.

Speaking earlier this month, Grealish's agent, Jonathan Barnett, suggested that a move to Man United for the Aston Villa captain is unlikely.

"The truth is we don't know [what will happen]," Barnett said.

"There are many clubs and I wouldn't put Manchester United at the top of that
