UCL: Sergio Ramos breaks silence on Real Madrid's exit

Real Madrid captain, Sergio Ramos, has broken his silence on his side's exit from this season's Champions League.

Real Madrid was eliminated from the Champions League on a 3-1 aggregate defeat against Chelsea on Wednesday.

Goals from Timo Werner and Mason Mount ensured Chelsea defeated Zinedine Zidane's side 2-0 at Stamford in the Champions League semi-final second leg tie.

Real Madrid had played a 1-1 draw against Thomas Tuchel's men in the first-leg last week.

Reacting, Ramos, in a tweet via his Twitter handle on Thursday, expressed disappointment over Real Madrid's exit.

The Spaniard insisted that Real Madrid is not finished yet, adding that they still have the LaLiga title to fight for this season.

He wrote, "The history of @realmadrid it has been forged with victories, but it has risen from defeats.

"We still have the League and we are going for it. We're disappointed, yes. But we're not finished.

"A history built on victories but @realmadriden has always risen from defeats. The league title is still there for us and we're up for it."
