Mourinho explains why return to football next season might be 'premature'

Jose Mourinho has insisted he will not rush back into management, claiming that a return to the dugout next season may be "premature".

The 58-year-old was sacked last month by Tottenham Hotspur.

Mourinho, who has previously coached Real Madrid, Chelsea and Manchester United, is, however, not short of offers.

But the Portuguese will remain patient for the right offer while he goes on holidays.

"I have no plans. I am going on with my normal life. I feel fresh. I feel calm. I am on holiday.

"I have more time to be doing my homework and analysis. I'll wait to be back in football.

"Not just for the right club, but for the right culture. Maybe next season is premature, we will see," Mourinho told Times Magazine.
