Chelsea put 11 players for sale to fund Haaland’s transfer

Chelsea is ready to sell at least eleven players this summer transfer window as they attempt to fund a deal for Borussia Dortmund striker, Erling Haaland, according to Football London.

Chelsea are expected to be in the market for a striker this summer and are desperate to sign Haaland for their manager, Thomas Tuchel, who has been impressive since replacing Frank Lampard last January.

Chelsea Director, Marina Granovskaia, had already made the first move in order to seal Haaland transfer from Dortmund.

According to the newspaper, the likes of Kepa Arrizabalaga, Fikayo Tomori, Tiemoue Bakayoko, Emerson, Davide Zappacosta, Marcos Alonso and Ross Barkley are on the list of players Chelsea wants to sell to fund a deal for the 20-year-old attacker at the end of the season.

Haaland, who has drawn the interest of Manchester City, Manchester United, Liverpool and Real Madrid, has scored 31 goals so far this season for Dortmund.

Dortmund are expected to demand over £100million for the Norway international.

Haaland’s release clause (£65 million) will come into effect in the summer of 2022.

Top European clubs are willing to take a risk and sign him this summer for a fee of more than £100 million because of his impressive form.
