PSG vs Man Utd: What Mbappe said about Rashford ahead of Champions League clash

Paris Saint-Germain's Kylian Mbappe has hailed Manchester United striker, Marcus Rashford, for his work in fighting child poverty in the UK.

Over the summer, Rashford forced a Government U-turn on the provision of free school meals to vulnerable children.

His impressive campaign earned the 23-year-old an MBE.

Mbappe has been impressed with Rashford and ahead of their meeting in the Champions League on Tuesday night, he has spoken about the respect he has for the England international.

"To tackle an issue as important as child poverty is one of the most important things that somebody can do.

"So I have full respect that he's been doing that and trying to make a real change.

"I do think there is a requirement for players to use their position to make a difference in the world. We've been given so much and it's important that we give back," Mbappe said.
