Big Juventus midfielder set to join Chelsea as part of Jorginho swap deal

Miralem Pjanic has been offered to Chelsea as part of Juventus' planned swap deal for sensational Brazilian midfielder Jorginho, according to latest reports on SunSport.

Pjanic has been heavily linked with a move to La Liga giants Barcelona and Ligue 1 side PSG, but it was gathered that Maurizio Sarri's influence is likely to ensure the player completes a swap deal to Chelsea.

And now Juventus have offered cash as well as the player to the premier League club in a bid to sign the midfielder.

Juventus have been hit with financial crisis following the coronavirus outbreak which has distorted every activity on the planet.

Despite being a first-team star the 30-year-old is believed to be willing to leave the Allianz Stadium for a new challenge.

The midfielder has already been suggested as a potential makeweight in a deal for Manchester United's Paul Pogba, while a swap deal with Barcelona has also been tipped.

At Juve, Portuguese football star Cristiano Ronaldo has been reportedly exempted from taking salary pay-cut at Italian giants Juventus which means his £522,000-a-week take home is still intact.

And for this reason, the Old Lady who are the reigning champions are preparing to cut the wages of their players since the League is currently on suspension.

Also, the club will not be signing any player whose weekly income will be more than £151,000-a-week as from next season.

According to the report by Corriere di Torino, the Old Lady chiefs have made this decision so as for them to protect their financial solidity.

Cristiano Ronaldo however don't need to worry about the club's plan to slash salary of players as his own income will not be touched by the club's directors.

Gonzalo Higuain, Andrien Rabiot, Aaron Ramsey and Paulo Dybala are the other players whose money will not be affected by the changes coming.

Juventus' recent cap is now expected to affect their desire to re-sign Frenchman Paul Pogba from Manchester United as he earns £290,000 a week at Old Trafford.
