Ghanaian footballer Gladson Awako recalls how TB Joshua was instrumental to the West African nation's triumph at the FIFA U20 World Cup in Egypt in 2009.
The Black Starlets became the first African nation to win the tournament with Nigeria coming close twice on two occasions.
Awako claimed that the man of God was with the team in each match of tournament en route to the final and winning the cup.
Ghana played Brazil in the finals and were left with ten-men after 37 minutes following Daniel Ado's red card.
The match went into extra time and penalties as the Black Starlets led by current Black Stars captain Andre Ayew won the match 4-3 on shootouts after a full-time score of 1-1.
Awako who had short spells in Spain after the World Cup claimed that TB Joshua was so influential that he arranged the order of how they took the penalties in the finals.
Eleven years on the former TP Mazember star recalls how TB Joshua predicted that a Ghanaian player would be sent off.
"During the U-20 World Cup in Egypt 2009, we normally gathered around the centre to pray. The coach usually made us speak to a man on phone.
He will put the phone on loudspeaker so we could all hear and then pray and do what he said," Awako said in an Instagram live chat with YAC Media.
"Most of the things he said came to pass, especially the final. He predicted that we will get an early red card and also told us how we will arrange the penalty takers.
