A few days ago, talented act Morell poured his heart out in a touching article chronicling his tales as an up & coming act; the delays, the struggle, the kind of support he received from different people, and everything in between. He took time out to give us more info on his background, and how he's directly affected by the ongoing Boko Haram insurgency in his home state #BORNO and other parts of the country.
To this effect, Morell decided to record a socio-conscious track aptly titled #BORNO; a beautifully crafted song that highlights the pain he's gone (and is still going) through.
Is this the most meaningful Nigerian song released this year? I certainly think so. And it's so good as well. Listen, download and share.
