BMW 530e Is The First Ever Car That can Charge Wirelessly

German Car Makers BMW Is Set To make History as they will be rolling out wireless charging on one of its cars.

The concept is big charging pad which is made exclusively for the BMW which you will connect to a 220-volt outlet, then the sensors on the car show you where to steer so the vehicle can communicate with the charger.

According to BMW, the 9.4kWh battery in the 530e can be charged in about 3.5 hours at 3.2kW of power, or close to the level you'd get if you just plugged the car in with a cord.
