It's been quite a while since I last wrote about a mobile a mobile and I must tell you, this InnJoo One is solid enough to trigger my return to this category.
In my absence, InnJoo (a UAE based Chinese smartphone manufacturer) has grown into a good competition for Nigeria's smartphone market. Manufacturing phones that directly compete with the flagship of the likes of Gionee, Tecno and Infinix phones just like this InnJoo One.
The InnJoo One is equipped with flagship specs. Spotting the same 2GB RAM like Infinix Zero, Octa Core processor, 2600mAh battery all under very tiny smartphone measuring 6.9mm. Also rocking a 5.0inch screen weighing 123g the InnJoo One would be a great success for the company.
I contacted InnJoo to clarify what version of Android the InnOS installed on the One is based on and i'm yet to get a reply. But judging by the Material Design I see in their videos and photos and the fact that it is only Android Lollipop that fully supports 64bit architecture I can safely conclude that it is indeed the Android 5.0 Lollipop.
The One has two variants one is the One 3G HD and the other One LTE HD. Aside some processor and FM radio difference, the main difference is that the former supports 3G connectivity while the latter supports both the 3G connectivity as well as the 4G LTE connectivity.
