In Maleficent: Mistress of Evil, Angelina Jolie's titular wicked fairy godmother is back and coping with one of the realest life changes a parent can face: her only kid's nuptials.
This new trailer focuses on the approaching wedding of Princess Aurora (Elle Fanning) to Prince Phillip (Harris Dickinson). On top of all the usual anxieties associated with planning a wedding, Maleficent also has to deal with Queen Ingrith - played by actual queen Michelle Pfeiffer - who just outright says she thinks she'd be a better mother to Aurora. The chutzpah!
The sequel to Disney's 2014 hit positions the wedding as a chance to unite a fractured people, but some outside force interferes and leaves Maleficent and Aurora on opposite sides of a warMaleficent: Mistress of Evil hits theaters on Oct. 18.
