Champions League: What abandoned PSG vs Basaksehir match means for Man Utd

Paris Saint-Germain have qualified for the knockout stages of the Champions League, despite their final group game being abandoned.

The Ligue 1 champion's game was cut short due to allegations of racism in the 14th minute.

UEFA have ruled that the match continues on Wednesday from 5.55pm.

However, PSG go into the game knowing they have qualified regardless of the outcome, because they have a superior head-to-head record against Manchester United.

RB Leipzig beat United 3-2 in the other Group H fixture on Tuesday night.

Leipzig could still top the group on 12 points pending the outcome of PSG's match. The Parisians would win the group if they defeat Basaksehir.

United will now drop into the Europa League round of 32.
