Coutinho updates on his future after winning Champions League with Bayern

Brazilian midfielder, Philippe Coutinho, has provided the latest update on his future after winning the Champions League trophy with Bayern Munich following their 1-0 victory against Paris Saint-Germain in the final on Sunday night in Lisbon, Portugal.

Coutinho is due to return to Barcelona as his loan has expired with Bayern, but it is not clear if he will remain at Camp Nou.

Speaking with Movistar after winning the Champions League, the Brazilian international said he has not thought about his future until after winning the Europe topflight league trophy, adding that he wants to work and succeed.

Coutinho said: "I have not thought about that [my future]. Until now, I was only thinking about the Champions League final.

"Now, I've to go back. What I can say is that I want to work and succeed, and we will see what happens.

"We have had a great season. We have prepared very well from the beginning, and I think we deserved this Champions League final victory. We are very happy."

Coutinho joined Barcelona in January 2018 from Liverpool for a £145 million deal.

He also helped Bayern to win the domestic league title and cup double this season.
The 28-year-old has drawn the interest of Arsenal in the past.
