Europa League: Sevilla manager reveals tactical plan after 2-1 win over Man Utd

Sevilla manager, Julen Lopetegui, has revealed that the secret to beating Manchester United, is to play "as a unit".

The LaLiga will play in the final of this year's Europa League, after beating United 2-1 in the semi-final on Saturday.

Bruno Fernandes put the Red Devils in front from the penalty spot, but Suso levelled with a simple tap in.

With 12 minutes of the game left, Juuk de Jong found himself free inside the box to score the winner.

"This is the best Manchester United of the last few years and the form team in England, so it is normal that we had to suffer.

"This was a team effort. If you beat a team like United in a semifinal, you have to do it as a unit. That's what we did tonight. I'm really proud of my team.

"We are very excited for the final, but it will be the hardest game yet and we have to prepare," Lopetegui told reporters.

Five-time Europa League winners Sevilla will now play either Inter Milan or Shakhtar Donetsk in the final.
