Revealed: What happened after Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua ran into each other in Spain

British heavyweight champions Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury bumped on each other in Marbella where they are both holidaying ahead of their proposed fight sometime next year.

Both are in possession of all the belts in their category having defeated the duo of Deontay Wilder and Andy Ruiz Junior in the last few months.

The two British fighters have constantly made the news in recent times over a possibility of staging a unification fight where one of them will be the unified champion at the end of the day.

Meanwhile, Daily Mail reports that the Watford born fighter revealed he ran into his countryman driving along the Spanish coast and even rolled down the window of his car for a chat.

While posting the picture on his official Instagram page, Joshua added a caption that says: 'Sweeeeeeeeeeeet Caroline!! Ohhhh ohhh ohhhhh.' accompanied with a punch emoji.

And Fury replied with a tantalising nod to next year's proposed fight, as he promised on his Instagram story: '2021 it's going off'.

Joshua was pictured wearing a face mask and with a baseball cap while Fury in the driving seat of his exotic car only wore a sunglass and his cap facing the back.

Both would have taken to the rings again this summer with their respective opponents but for the coronavirus pandemic that shut down activities across the globe.

Fury is expected to take on Wilder in their trilogy fight while the British boxer of Nigerian descent has a mandatory challenge from Kubrat Pulev later this year.
