Cristiano Ronaldo has created history in every club he has featured and has gone on to score an unprecedented 728 goals in the cause of his career in the last 20 years.

Fierce rival Lionel Messi hit a major milestone in his football career after becoming the latest player to record 700th senior team goals when he scored from the spot against Atletico Madrid.

Ronaldo also found the net in the La Liga on the the same night with a ferocious strike from outside the area in Juventus' 3-1 win over Genoa.
