Liverpool star surprises club fans at petrol station by paying for everyone's fuel

Mohamed Salah has been applauded by Liverpool fans for his gestures on and off the pitch as he recently bought fuel for club fans at a local Sainsbury's petrol station, Daily Star reports.

Club fans were left stunned by his gestures after he was pictured paying for customer's petrol at a local Sainsbury's filling station.

The Egyptian star who won back-to-back golden boots in his first two seasons since arriving at the club has won the love and affection of Liverpool fans.

Fans have continued to react at the gesture. @RockyKlopp wrote: "Mo Salah just casually paying for everyone's petrol at Sainsbury's, Old Swan, in a full @LFC training kit too."

The tweet gained plenty of traction among Liverpool supporters, with most once again praising the man they call the 'Egyptian King'.

"Love this - on the way home from 5 a side vibes," one wrote.

A second put: "Absolute champ."

"How can you not love this guy!!" exclaimed a third.

Another added: "What a legend."

"He's taking no contact to extremes, not letting anyone else near the till," joked a fifth.

As a sixth replied: "Imagine popping over for lunch an Mo was filling up his bentley!"

And only recently, Nigerian legend John Obi Mikel says he is shocked by Mohamed Salah's success at Liverpool in such a short period of time.

The Egyptian goal king spent two seasons at Stamford Bridge along with the former Super Eagles captain after joining Chelsea from FC Basel in 2014.

But he failed to command regular playing time under Jose Mourinho and was sent to Fiorentina on loan for the remainder of his debut season in the Premier League.

The winger embarked on another loan move to Serie A side AS Roma and his superb performances won him a permanent deal.

Just when he was just settling down at the club, Liverpool lured him back to England where he has won two highest goals scorer awards.

He also inspired the Reds to Champions League triumph last season and he's on the verge of winning the Premier League title this term. Mikel Obi who spent over a decade at the Bridge says he has fond memories of his time with Salah.
