Boxing legend Mike Tyson was said to have made a staggering over half a billion pounds - exactly £557m during his professional career.

The 53-year-old remains the youngest boxer to have won the heavyweight title at the age of 20 years, four months, and 22 days.

He also reigned as the undisputed world heavyweight champion having won 50 of his 58 bouts - 44 of which came through knockouts.

Tyson became a big deal in the boxing world following his victory over Tony Tucker in their fight in 1987.

The American fighter hanged his gloves in 2005 after losing three of his last four encounters in the ring.

But in spite of the megabucks he made during his prime, Tyson filed for bankruptcy two years before his retirement due to the expensive lifestyle he lived as reported by Daily Star.

He was a proud owner of exotic cars, massive mansions and wild animals including tigers, but he seems to have gotten back on his feet having featured in a few Hollywood movies.

The baddest man on the planet as he often refers to himself also recently launching his own cannabis ranch.

Tyson stands a chance to make a whopping $1 million after Australian promoter Brian Amatruda a chance to face an Australian footballer-turned-boxer Down Under.
