Manchester United stars are already preparing for the return of Premier League which has no specific date yet.

Embattled Paul Pogba alongside Anthony Martial, Victor Lindelof, and Andreas Pereira led the training session as reported by The Mirror.

The publication reveals that the organisers have continued to tie all loose ends but claim they still have several hurdles to negotiate.

Reports reveal the UK government has given a green light for professional sports to return as from the first of next month, while the EPL is targeting a June 12 return which falls in line with the latest guidelines.

Meanwhile, the Red Devils will be hoping they can continue their impressive performances from where they stopped in March.

Their victory over city rivals Manchester City on March 8 moved them closer to Champions League qualification as they sit three points behind Chelsea in fifth position.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's men ran riot over Austrian side LASK in the first leg of their Europa League round of 16 game before the competition was suspended.

The victory stretched their unbeaten run to 11 in all competitions - a resurgent in their form which coincided with the arrival of Bruno Fernandes from Sporting Lisbon.

Nigeria's Odion Ighalo also made his dream move to Old Trafford on the last day of the transfer window and both stars have been instrumental to their form before football was paused.

Meanwhile, Bruno's arrival has made some quarters question Pogba's usefulness at Old Trafford considering the shenanigans that surround his stay at the club.

He has been constantly linked with a move away from Man United, with Real Madrid and Juventus looking like his destination.

However, Los Blancos seem to have turned their back on the Frenchman - leaving him with just interests from Juve.

He and his agent Mino Raiola have been accused of trying to manufacture a move away from Old Trafford.

But Solskjaer, who has regularly defended Pogba, is excited about the prospect of Fernandes pairing up with the club's record signing.

"Good players can always play together, so definitely they can. it's a big yes," he told Sky Sports.
