Guardiola, Kante tops list of rich sports stars who drive very cheap cars (see full-list)

Despite being one of the highest paid managers in the world, Manchester City boss Pep Guadiola drives a ridiculous £28,000 electric Nissan Leaf, according to SunSports. 

Although the manager is said to own a very expensive Bentley which costs hundreds of thousands, the manager sometimes prefers to modest in his public appearances. 

He has been seen being driven into the training ground in his Nissan leaf which is very compact, but easy to drive car. 

Here are other sports stars who drive cheap cars 

Lewis Hamilton 

The Formula One driver has acquired a smart car which is eco-friendly despite his earnings accelerated to an estimated $489 million, according to Forbes. 

Although he has quite a number of exotic cars in his garage, he seems proud driving the little car about in Monaco. 

Lebron James 

He is arguably one of the most famous stars in the world. It was gathered that he does not like fancy. 

Despite having a reported £300million in the banks, the LA Lakers star in 2014 had an agreement with car manufacturer Kia to be their official spokesperson. 

He drives a little car which costs around £32,000. 

N'Golo Kante

The 2018 FIFA World Cup-winning midfielder earns a staggering £290,000-per-week at Stamford Bridge after signing a new five-year deal until the summer of 2023. 

He joined the list of players to have won the Premier League title with two different clubs - but he stands out after achieving the feat in successive seasons. 

The France international can afford the best of cars owing to the fact that he earns a little over £1 million every month. 

But the defensive midfielder turned attacker prefers to stay low-key. 

He, however, chooses to drive the white mini cooper car he bought five years ago which is valued around £20,000. 

Ricky Hatton

The boxing legend has a Robin Reliant for himself. Designed exactly like Del Boy's famous three-wheeler, it cost him £4,000 and features the famous 'Trotters Independent Trading' logo on the side. 

Thomas Vermaelen 

The ex-Arsenal star owns a Nissan Figaro is not more than £5000. 

The Belgium international, currently plying his trade for Japanese side Vissel Kobe, was often seen driving around North London in his sky blue number. 

Raheem Sterling 

The City star has a posh fleet of cars which includes Lamborghini Urus and Bentley Continental GT; however the winger sometimes prefers a nifty Smart car that would've set him back £11,000. This is great for running errands. 

Benardo Silva 

The Etihad man loves smart cars too. He drives a Fortwo model that retails for an incredibly modest £11k to get you from A to B. 

The Portuguese star earns £120,000 per week, which means he could buy nearly 11 of them every seven days.
