Ex-Man United midfielder names only manager who can help club win Premier League title

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is the right person to guide the club to Premier League glory, according to former Man United midfielder Jose Kleberson.

United are yet to lift the crown in nearly seven years, having won their last in 2013 under then legendary manager, Sir Alex Ferguson.

The Red Devils have since struggled for consistency, with only Jose Mourinho among tacticians who came after Ferguson coming close to winning the crown.

In his first season in charge of the club in 2017/18, Mourinho guided United to an encouraging second-place finish behind rivals Man City who won the title.

But the Portuguese could not last long as fans grew increasingly impatient with the former Chelsea tactician after a string of poor results.

He was subsequently replaced with Solskjaer in December 2018, with the Norwegian managing to help the Old Trafford outfit show a glimmer of progress - particularly since the turn of the year.

And despite sitting fifth in the currently suspended campaign and a whopping 37 points behind runaway leaders Liverpool, Kleberson feels Solskjaer has the requisite to return Man United to the top of English football.

"He has a good personality, is very positive and confident and he knows what he is looking for. I know he's got a lot of management technique from Sir Alex Ferguson and he's very good at what he does," Kleberson told Goal.

"A lot has changed at United recently. They're looking for young players and that's a big change. I'm sure he can make United a top team again and win the Premier League," he added.
