Manchester United fear 1 big thing could happen to Odion Ighalo next month

Manchester United are now reportedly scared of losing Nigerian striker Odion Ighalo back to the Chinese League this summer.

The former Super Eagles man has been wonderful since he joined Manchester United in January from Shanghai Shenhua and has scored four goals for the Old Trafford landlords.

But the Premier League has been suspended indefinitely due to the crisis of coronavirus and Odion Ighalo has not been able to play again for Manchester United.

Shanghai Shenhua only gave Manchester United Odion Ighalo for six months in which the contract is expected to end at the end of June this year.

The Chinese Super League side have made it clear that they want Odion Ighalo to return to their side and they are also ready to make him the highest paid player.

United on the other hand have not decided on the future of Odion Ighalo because the season is yet to be concluded.

Chinese Super League for the coming season is reportedly due to restart on April 18 following a dramatic reduction in cases of coronavirus.

According to ESPN United are concerned that Shanghai will make it difficult for them to extend Ighalo's loan deal despite Fifa's advice on contracts amid the coronavirus outbreak.

Whether Odion Ighalo stays or leaves Manchester United, he has already made record as the first Nigerian to play for the Premier League giants.
