VIncent Enyeama makes big and urgent update on his career all Nigerians must know

Former Super Eagles number one goalie Vincent Enyeama has rubbished reports that he has retired from football after finding it hard to get a club for the past three years.

Since the ex Enyimba captain was released in France in April 2017, he has not played any competitive football for any club in the world.

This has made many local media outlets to be speculating that Vincent Enyeama has hanged his gloves even though there was no announcement from the player to that effect.

The 37-year-old has been seen many times playing the game of golf in which many thought Enyeama may have shifted concentration from football to golf.

But while speaking with FrunSports according to Complete Sports, Enyeama stated emphatically that he is not done yet with football claiming that he wants to play again.

"I enjoy playing golf so I understand the confusion. I have been staying in shape.

"It is not secret that I love football and I am still in contention to play again,'' Vincent Enyeama explained.

But it is not yet clear the level at which Vincent Enyeama would want to play in should he returns to football considering the fact that no club in Europe is looking for him this summer.

There have been reports as well that he should be persuaded to return to the Super Eagles most especially during when Carl Ikeme suffered cancer.

Vincent Enyeama played in three FIFA World Cup tournaments before he retired from international duty after 101 games.

He was also between the sticks for Nigeria when Super Eagles won the 2013 African Cup of Nations in 2013 in South Africa.
