Man United fans send 1 big message to Solskjaer about Ighalo ahead of Europa league clash

Manchester United will hope they can progress to Europa League round of 16 stage when they welcome Club Brugge to Old Trafford on Thursday, February 27.

Anthony Martial scored the Red Devils' only goal to cancel Emmanuel Bonaventure's early strike and help them avoid defeat at the end of the match.

Nigerian star Odion Ighalo was introduced into the game in the 67th minute and could not inspire them to victory after the game.

Meanwhile, some of the club's supporters have called on the manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer to start the former Watford star in tomorrow's encounter.

After joining the Old Trafford outfit in January, the 30-year-old has made just three appearances with no goals to show for it - all of which he started from the bench.

The Norwegian-born tactician might be forced to rest some of his players ahead of this weekend's Premier League clash against Everton as they continue to chase top-four finish.

Ighalo, who won AFCON 2019 top scorer's prize has been presented with some sumptuous chances but his poor finish forced him to miss those opportunities.

He was denied his first for the Red Devils against the Hornets after his chance was cleared from the goal-mouth, and Manchester Evening News reports that fans want the forward to start against Club Brugge.

MEN conducted a poll if the former Super Eagles star should start tomorrow's game, most of the respondents agreed that he should start.

Over 83 percent of the 2,440 voters voted the 30-year-old to be included in the starting XI, while they urge the boss to rest Martial.

The remaining 16.7 percent of voters don't want Ighalo to start, with some believing that the game is too close and important to make too many changes to a winning team.
