Heavyweight fighters ranked after Deontay Wilder's defeat to Tyson Fury (See Joshua's position)

Tyson Fury has been ranked number one fighter in the heavyweight division following his flawless victory over Deontay Wilder in Las Vega on Sunday, February 23.

The Gypsy King totally outsmarted Bronze Bomber in the heavyweight showdown that went down in history, becoming the new WBC champion of the world far from his homeland in the United Kingdom.

During the sweat-boiling showdown that held at the iconic MGM Grand Garden Arena, Fury recorded an emphatic seventh-round stoppage over Deontay, leaving the ears and mouth of his opponent in bleed.

Wilder's corner had to throw in the towel as Fury became the WBC champion and remain undefeated with a perfectly clean sheet in 31 fights.

Wilder and Fury had their first fight in December 2018 and it resulted into a controversial split, with both sides emerging winners in grand style.

The American heavyweight champ had landed a brutal knockout-bound punch on Tyson Fury but the Brit got his moves back to give Wilder some chases inside the ring.

Fury has now moved ahead of Anthony Joshua and both Deontay Wilder in the heavyweight division after being ranked by The Athletic.

Coming behind Fury is the immediate WBC champion Wilder who lost his first career fight as a professional boxer to Fury.

Two-time heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua came on the third spot while Mexican heavyweight champ Andy Ruiz sealed the fourth spot.

Heavyweight new boy Oleksandr Usyk is ranked fifth while British fighter Dillian Whyte is on the sixth spot with Cuban heavyweight star Luis Ortiz coming behind.

Adam Kownacki, Daniel Dubois and Joseph Parker completed the ten-man list in style. L
