Super Eagles striker leaves his club in France, completes big move to another top European side

Nigeria international Henry Onyekuru has completed a move to Turkish giants Galatasaray on loan from French side Monaco until the end of the 2019/20 season.

Since Henry Onyekuru completed his move to Monaco from Everton in June 2019, the 22-year-old struggled in France as he failed to command regular playing time.

He has played only four games for Monaco with his last appearance coming in September 2019.

Last season while in Turkey, Henry Onyekuru scored 16 goals in 44 games for Galatasaray in all competitions where he won a domestic treble, Super Lig title, and Turkish Cup and Super Cup.

Galatasaray are currently placed seventh in the Super Lig table, and Henry Onyekuru will be looking to revive his career at the club.

Onyekuru was among the Super Eagles players who won bronze medal at the 2019 African Cup of Nations in Egypt.
