Floyd Mayweather, retired American boxer, has taken swipe at his critics in a brief Instagram post aimed at putting more light on his legendary celebrity status.

The American boxing star remains one of biggest names to ever walk on boxing path with grandeur of championship, social prestige and the financial strength to prove it.

Mayweather had an incredible career before hanging the gloves after his victory over Irish UFC star Conor MacGregor in 2017.

The former WBC welterweight and junior middleweight champion boasted 50-0 undefeated streaks in boxing history throughout his professional career.

Recently, he was named the highest-paid athlete in the world in the last 30 years by Forbes, beating Juventus star Cristiano Ronaldo and Barcelona star Lionel Messi to the landmark.

The boxing legend, who showed off his newly-acquired Rolls Royce Phantom dubbed "private jet of the road", attributed the Forbes feat to hardworking and dream to become his own boss.

In a brief message on his photo-sharing platform IG, ''the money'' throws jibes at his antagonists, warning them to always look into the "man in the future."

"You should look at the man in the mirror before passing judgement," Mayweather said.

The 42-year-old donned an expensive over-all which cost $17,495k. and his fans have hailed him.
