Disappointed fan puts top English club up for sale on eBay

The Potters are currently at the base of the 24-team Championship table with 18 points after 23 matches so far this campaign.

Michael O'Neill's men took the lead in their game against Middlesbrough last weekend but relinquished their leadership at the end of the day.

They suffered a 2-1 defeat to Borough at the Riverside Stadium having conceded two second-half goals in the game.

The defeat, however, got the fan annoyed that he placed the team on eBay with bidding starting at just 99p but has now risen to £114 and maybe more.

According to SunSport. the seller 'jezzal69' says the condition is 'For parts or not working' and he's even more scathing in his description of the team.

He said: "Stoke City FC First Team Squad. Condition is For parts or not working. Dispatched with Royal Mail 2nd Class.

"Not suitable for task for which bought, unreliable and unpredictable, job lot of below-average footballers, attitudes questionable, work ethic poor, not advisable to use as dog walkers as cannot hold onto a lead," ouch!

Meanwhile, the Potters manager Michael O'Neil is not planning to sell any of his players talk-less of the entire squad.

Talking about his need to sell before buying O'Neil said, "There's no room in the changing room for any more players! "We won't be able to bring any in unless some players leave first of all. We had 17 not starting (against Wigan).

That's too many.

"That's the reality, without young players. We just have to manage that situation between now and January."

SunSport reports that Senegal international Badou Ndiaye might quit the club once the January transfer window opens.

He is already in talks with Turkish topflight side Trabzonspor, just two years after joining the club from Galatasaray.
