Premier League club, Everton is set to confirm former Napoli manager, Carlo Ancelotti as their new manager as reported by UK Mirror on Tuesday.

Everton have agreed a four-and-a-half year deal with Ancelotti which will see him pocket a basic salary £11.5million-per-year with a bonus of £2.5million at Goodison Park if he keeps the club in the Premier League at the end of the season.

Ancelotti will take charge of his first game for the club against Burnley in the Premier League on Boxing Day at Goodison Park.

The 60-year-old's son, Davide, will join as assistant manager with Duncan Ferguson also set to stay on as part of the coaching backroom staff.

We recall that Ancelotti arrived Everton on Monday afternoon for talks about becoming the new manager of Everton.

Everton had earlier releasd a statement inisisting they have not appointed a new manager, amid reports that Carlo Ancelotti had agreed to join the club.

It is widely believed that Ancelotti is now the favourite for the job, with talks taking place between him and owner Farhad Moshiri.

Ancelotti won the Premier League, the FA Cup and the Community Shield during his tenure at Chelsea from 2009 until 2011.

The former Bayern Munich and Real Madrid manager has won three UEFA Champions League trophies over the course of his managerial career.
