Chelsea mocks Tottenham's position in Premier League with a savage tweet (See table)

Chelsea have taken to Twitter to troll London rivals, Tottenham Hotspur, following their torrid start to the new season.

Unlike Spurs, Chelsea appear to have turned around their fortunes, with the side on a seven-game winning streak.

The Blues, under the tutelage of Frank Lampard are enjoying a terrific run of results that has seen them climb to third on the league standings.

Lampard has managed to bring a feel-good factor to Stamford Bridge by committing to youth players who have replicated the faith in them with splendid performances.

Spurs, on the other hand, are struggling this campaign despite their impressive league finish last season.

The Mauricio Pochettino-tutored side has registered mixed results, leaving them sitting 14th on the log with 14 points, 12 points behind Chelsea.

And the Stamford Bridge dwellers have wasted no time in reminding their neighbours of the gap between them and Spurs.

"A look at the top 14 after 12 Premier League games," Chelsea sarcastically tweeted alongside a snapshot capturing league positions.

Bizarrely, the table had unusually been cropped after the 14th position to ensure fans could see just how far Spurs had slumped.
