Former Barcelona star compares Neymar to a child gives reason

Paris Saint-Germain forward, Neymar Jr, has been slammed by former Barcelona defender and Brazilian teammate Dani Alves over his ''sensibility of child" amid off-field problems.

The 27-year-old has found himself in the discomforting whirlpool of controversies over his career, with the forward falling down the pecking order with hierarchy of the French champions, over frustrated switch back to Barcelona.

The Brazilian star sealed a move to the French capital from La Liga giants Barcelona in a whopping £198million deal in search of a verdant field for personal glory, having been tipped for future world best.

However, with less than two years with the French giants, Neymar has courted strong criticism to himself amid spats with teammates and fans, coupled with injury woes.

Alves, who played with the Brazilian attacker at Barca and PSG, has now come harsh on his companion with the football legend positing that "Neymar is very affected by many things."

"Neymar has the sensibility of a child. But Ney is not a child, no. He is a man,'' Alves said.

"People have to start learning to respect Neymar. The Ney of the Brazilian team people don't respect. He's known as the outsider and people don't respect that.''

The 36-year-old Alves however cautioned Neymar against being an "outsider" because of his role model potentials and responsibility ahead.

"He needs to take a stance because he is in a place where he has to position himself and people have to understand who Ney is, how he thinks, and they have to start to learn and respect Neymar," Alves concluded.
