The three-time African champions moved from its August tally of 1481 to 1482 in September.
Senegal maintained their 20th spot, which is their best ever FIFA ranking and 1st position in the continent.
Belgium remained top of the world ranking, while France moved up from 3rd to 2nd spot to unseat Copa America's winners, Brazil.
