Transfer: PSG forward refuses to take pay cut to join new club

Paris Saint Germain forward Maxim Choupo-Moting's proposed transfer to Leece is now in doubt, according to L'Equipe.

The deal is being held up because Choupo-Moting is reluctant to take a pay cut.

Lecce's offer is for one year, with the option for a further two years, should they beat the drop this season.

The 30-year-old, who moved to PSG from Stoke City last summer, has one year left on his current contract at Parc des Princes.

Choupo-Moting featured in 22 Ligue 1 matches for PSG last term, scoring three goals.
