Transfer: Arsenal take decision on selling Lacazette, Aubameyang ahead of Pepe's arrival

Arsenal will not sell either Alexandre Lacazette or Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang as they prepare to smash their transfer record to sign Lille winger, Nicolas Pepe, the BBC reports.

This week, the Gunners ramped up their summer transfer activities by confirming deals for Real Madrid playmaker Dani Ceballos and Saint-Etienne defender William Saliba on Thursday.

They are now on the verge of smashing their transfer record for the third time in two years, after agreeing a £72million fee with Lille, who are happy to receive payment via a number of structured installments.

Despite having a tight budget to get players this summer, Arsenal will not have to sell Lacazette or Aubameyang to balance their books.

Aubameyang had been linked with Manchester United and China this window.

Asked whether the club would consider selling last season's Premier League Golden Boot winner, Emery replied: "Not really in our mind. Not really.

"We are very happy with Aubameyang and we don't want to sell him."
