AFCON 2019: Highest goal scorers ahead of quarter-final matches (Top 17)

Four players are tied on three goals each, ahead of the Africa Cup of Nations quarter-final fixtures.

They are: Odion Ighalo (Nigeria), Cédric Bakambu (Congo DR), Sadio Mane (Senegal) and Adam Ounas (Algeria).

However, only three are still in the race to win the Golden Boot, as Bakambu's country has been eliminated in the Round of 16.

The Super Eagles will be looking to Ighalo, when they take on Cameroon, while Mane is the Teranga Lions' danger man as they play Benin.

Ounas should be in action, when Algeria clash with Ivory Coast for a place in the semi-final.

Top scorers so far:

3 goals: Ighalo (NGR), Mane (SEN), Bakambu (COD), Ounas (ALG)

2 goals: Belaili, Mahrez (both ALG), Elmohamady, Salah (both EGY), Andriamahitsinoro (MAD), J. Ayew (GHA), Bahoken (CMR), En-Nesyri (MAR), Okwi (UGA), Olunga (KEN), Pote (BEN), Yattara (GUI), Zaha (CIV)
