Argentina captain, Lionel Messi, has claimed that Brazil will win this year's Copa America, because "it is prepared".
Messi stated this while speaking to reporters, following their 2-1 win over Chile in the third-place playoff.
The Barcelona superstar had blasted match officials after their 2-0 defeat to Brazil in the semi-finals and was shown a straight red card against Chile.
The 32-year-old feels the referees are trying to help the hosts clinch their first Copa crown since 2007.
"I think there is no doubt. Unfortunately, I think it is prepared for Brazil [to win it].
"I hope that the VAR and the referees have nothing to do and that Peru can compete because they have the team to win, but I see it difficult," Messi said.
