Panic at Stamford Bridge as Sarri agrees deal to join top Italian club this summer

Chelsea boss, Maurizio Sarri, has reportedly reached an agreement to join Juventus as manager next season.

Reports suggest Sarri is keen to end his one-year stint in the Premier League with the Blues for a return to his homeland.

According to talkSPORT citing sources in Italy, Sarri has already agreed a contract with the Serie A champions to replace Massimiliano Allegri who departed the club at the end of the just concluded 2018/19 season.

Sarri has endured a difficult season at Stamford Bridge, with the club's hierarchy said to be ready to sack him after the Europa League final.

The 60-year-old's failure to win over Chelsea's fanbase is said to be the primary reason the club is keen to part ways with him.

Frank Lampard has since been tipped to take over from Sarri after enjoying a successful debut in football management with Derby County.

Meanwhile, it is believed Juventus turned to Sarri after Pep Guardiola rejected a move to the Allianz Arena.

Guardiola is said to have been approached by Juventus, but the Spaniard turned down the Old Lady for the third time in his career.
